We are obsessed with our own destruction. We keep making movies like Jurassic Park, Upgrade, the Matrix, all the Terminator movies, and so many others which tell the story of our own self-created destruction. We are of course obsessed with it because we understand our intelligence is greater than our restraint, and that we are also fatally flawed and depraved. Intelligent, lack of self-control, and self destructive are attributes that are fatal when held together, and humans embody this. When we are destroyed, we will be our own destoryers.
